30-Minute Management Skills Webinars

Productive Conflict Management

When two people on your team are at odds, what's your first move? Most managers either wait too long or step in too hard. Either way, the relationship takes a hit and the problem stays unresolved. This May series teaches one practical skill: How to navigate disagreements in ways that lead to better outcomes, not damaged relationships.

Session Details

Each session is 30 minutes. All three sessions are recorded and sent to registrants. Each session stands alone, but together they build a complete approach to navigating team conflict with confidence.

Webinar 1: Reading Conflict (May 06)

Not all conflict works the same way. A disagreement about a deadline is different from two people who simply don't respect each other. This session covers how to figure out what you're actually dealing with before deciding how to respond, which changes everything about what happens next.

Webinar 2: Describing Without Judging (May 13)

The words you choose when naming conflict either open things up or shut them down fast. This session focuses on how to describe what's happening in neutral, factual terms so you can address the situation without assigning blame or making people feel put on trial.

Webinar 3: Facilitating Resolution (May 20)

Getting both people to feel heard is harder than it sounds, especially when both are convinced they're right. This session walks through a practical facilitation approach for finding workable common ground without forcing false agreement or taking sides.

Who Should Attend

This series is for managers who:

  • Let conflict sit too long hoping it will sort itself out, then have to intervene at a crisis point

  • Step in quickly but often feel like they made things more complicated, not less

  • Have a hard time staying neutral when one person seems clearly more reasonable than the other

  • Want a structured approach to team disagreements rather than relying on instinct in the moment

If you manage people and want conflict to lead somewhere productive, this is for you.

What You'll Walk Away With

After this series, you'll have:

  • A simple diagnostic for understanding what kind of conflict you're seeing before you respond

  • Neutral language for naming what's happening without making it worse

  • A facilitation structure for getting both sides heard and moving toward resolution

  • One concrete thing to practice after each session the next time tension surfaces on your team
