30-Minute Management Skills Webinars

Motivation Beyond Rewards

One person lights up with new challenges. Another wants clear structure. A third just wants to be left alone to do good work. You can't motivate everyone the same way, but you also can't build a custom strategy for each person from scratch. This June series teaches one practical skill: How to understand and support what actually drives each team member.

Session Details

Each session is 30 minutes. All three sessions are recorded and sent to registrants. Each session stands alone, but together they build a complete approach to supporting what actually motivates your team.

Webinar 1: Diagnosing What Motivates (June 03)

Motivation conversations don't have to be formal or complicated. This session covers how to make "what energizes you?" a natural part of regular one-on-ones, and how to actually use what you learn rather than just filing it away.

Webinar 2: Creating Autonomy (June 10)

Knowing what drives someone is only useful if you create space for them to work that way. This session covers how to give people real ownership by defining the outcome clearly and leaving the path largely up to them, without losing accountability.

Webinar 3: Troubleshooting Low Engagement (June 17)

Even with good intentions, engagement dips. This session is about how to approach those moments without assuming the worst, using questions that surface what's actually getting in the way instead of putting someone on the defensive.

Who Should Attend

This series is for managers who:

  • Use a consistent approach with everyone and wonder why it seems to work for some people but not others

  • Rely mostly on recognition or rewards and see limited impact on sustained day-to-day engagement

  • Notice someone pulling back but aren't sure how to bring it up without making assumptions

  • Want to motivate their team in ways that feel natural rather than formulaic

If you manage people and want to move beyond one-size-fits-all engagement, this is for you.

What You'll Walk Away With

After this series, you'll have:

  • Questions that surface what genuinely drives each person on your team

  • A framework for offering autonomy that creates real ownership without removing structure

  • Language for raising disengagement early, before it turns into a bigger issue

  • One concrete thing to practice after each session in your next one-on-one
